Makishima: Onoda? Why are you staring at me like that?
…Oh, you must be thinking about how awful I look in this, haha.
Onoda: No, you look great in it, actually!
Makishima: Huh!? There’s no way I do! Do you have eye problems or something!?
Onoda: But I really meant it! You look really cool… like a real idol!
Makishima: D-don’t look at me with those candid eyes…
Kuro: Haha, I feel like I’ve witnessed something like this before…
Tetora: Taishou? Why are you smiling like that?
Kuro: It’s nothing.
… That aside, Makishima. Since you’re wearing an idol outfit anyway, would you like to try dancing a bit?
Makishima: Nah, I’ll refrain from that. I’d feel bad if I messed up and damaged the outfit.
Kuro: No worries. If it gets torn I can always patch it up, plus I made it extra strong, so it won’t break just like that.
Makishima: Oh? Did you make this outfit, Kiryu?
Kuro: I did. It’s an outfit for Akatsuki… I mean the unit I’m in. I’m in charge of making their costumes.
Oh, and Ryuseitai’s too.
Makishima: Seriously? I wasn’t expecting that.
Kuro: I hear that often. It’s not what you’d expect for a guy like me.
Now I’m used to this sort of reaction from people I just met when I tell them I like sewing.
I ended up lending you my outfit but if it’s hard to move in or something, don’t hesitate to tell me.
Makishima: Nah, in fact, it’s a lot easier to move in than I was expecting. It’s a nice outfit.
Kuro: Oh, is that so? It’s one of my favorites, so I’m glad it’s to your taste.
Makishima: Ah…But if you’re open to criticism, I think it’d look good with more golden threads. Also more flashy yellow and green touches would draw the eyes to it, don’t you think?
Kuro: Has anyone ever told ya your fashion sense is kinda… unique?
Makishima: You think so? It’s pretty normal, no?
Kuro: Well, everyone has their own taste, so it’s fine.
If the opportunity comes, I’d be happy to design something for ya, Makishima.
